A Little About Us and Why We Chose This Area
Jeff and I met in Huntsville, Texas at Sam Houston State University. Jeff grew up in Crockett, TX and loves all that the country offers including fishing, fires, and tractors. He told me when we met that he would never live that far away from a major city again because it was too far from entertainment, shopping, the hospital, and very importantly, jobs.
We married in 1994 and continued our education at the University of Houston. After we graduated, we lived for 8 years in The Woodlands and still love the community.
As The Woodlands area expanded to the west, the Magnolia Parkway started growing... and growing. People build their dreams along the 1488 Corridor... literally. Real Estate in the area is so exciting, from the custom country homes to the nature that surrounds them. Our careers brought us out to the area to show homes to our buyers, and we loved it so much we moved there ourselves.
The Magnolia area gives us the flexibility that comes with a little bit of land - we shoot fireworks on the 4th of July and have campouts in our own back yard over Spring Break. There are deer in our neighborhood and horses along the roadsides. The neighborhood is quiet and the stars are bright at night. However, when we want to go to the store or movie theater, it's not far away. Magnolia is just the right mix of country and city.
We have three children, the oldest are in Magnolia ISD. Our experience in the school system here has been wonderful with teachers that are loving and motivating to their students. The kids have homework but it is never overwhelming. Our elementary school is rated exemplary (and it is!)
About our Real Estate Practice
"So, how did you end up in real estate with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree?"
This is a familiar question posed to both of us (only for Jeff it's a Masters in Information Systems). The simple answer is that we "quit our day jobs" to work in a field that we both enjoyed and for the ability to operate our own business together.
We began our career in real estate as investors, and have owned and operated rental properties located primarily in The Woodlands since 1998.
As real estate took up more of our time and attention, it made sense for us to operate in the business full time. We both became licensed Realtors in 2003.
We sold our first million dollars worth of real estate in 2004, and received our first "Top Producer" award in 2005. Through hard work our business has grown each year, and last year our team sold almost 15 million dollars of real estate and closed 66 home transactions.

Our tag line, "Real Estate on a First Name Basis" is our way of summarizing how we want our clients to feel serviced by ourselves and our staff. We treat our clients as we would our family or our close friends: with personal attention to detail and a true concern for sound, educated real estate decisions.
Our real estate practice is built on and growing thanks to repeat business from past clients. Last year 20% of our transactions were with past clients, and another 25% were with clients that were personally referred to us. We realize that the better we treat our clients, the more our business will continue to thrive.
